About this role
Job summary The Clinical Team Leader for the Out of Hours Nursing Service is responsible for providing clinical leadership and operational support to the out of hours team, working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The post holder will support the delivery of high-quality, safe, and effective nursing services, ensuring the team is appropriately supported and managed.
Main duties of the job While the role is primarily undertaken during weekday hours, there is an expectation to provide occasional out of hours cover to support service delivery. This may include starts from 7:00 am or finishes at 9:00 pm, with working hours adjusted accordingly to ensure compliance with Working Time Directive (WTD) requirements. The role requires flexibility, effective leadership, and a commitment to maintaining continuity and quality of care across the service.
