Job summary
An opportunity has arisen to join the countywide MSK physiotherapy service to provide administrative support dedicated to managing and maintaining countywide waiting lists . This is a countywide role with the base to be agreed at interview. Full and part time applications will be considered.

We are a service of MSK physiotherapists who accept and manage referrals from consultants, GPs, other healthcare professionals and self referral.
The role involves dedicated waiting list management ensuring optimisation of clinical capacity across all sites. The role will will include detailed validation of our longest waiting patients.
The role will primarily involve managing patient records on our clinical systems but may also include direct contact with patients face to face or via telephone.
You will need to be computer literate with excellent attention to detail. You will be required to work using your own initiative within a busy service, with the ability to organise and prioritise work efficiently.
You must be able to communicate well and have an adaptable and flexible attitude to your work.
Main duties of the job
To provide comprehensive reception, administrative and clerical support to the Musculoskeletal Outpatient Physiotherapy Team.

Person Specification
Education / Qualifications and Relevant Experience Essential
Good general education including GSCE English or equivalent RSA II Typing/ Word processing CLAIT level 2 or equivalent Previous Reception experience

Experience of working within the NHS
Skills & Aptitude Essential
Good written and verbal communication skills Able to work in a pressured work setting
