Entry-Level Cable Technician Multiple Openings Across HawaiiOpen Positions by Island
• Oahu: 4 openings • Maui: 4 openings • Kauai: 1-2 openings • Big Island: 1 opening Requirements
• Basic understanding of telecommunications products and services, including fiber optic and/or copper facilities • Familiarity with cable installation tools and equipment such as: • Fiber optic splicers • Cleavers • Strippers • Trenching equipment
• Valid driver's license • Ability to pass drug screening Responsibilities
• Install and configure internet, television, and telephone cable systems • Place aerial and underground cable to customer locations • Install pedestals, handholes, vaults, and related infrastructure • Label and mark telecommunications facilities for identification and tracking • Assist with fiber optic splicing, repairs, and maintenance • Perform general construction labor, including trenching, plowing, and boring operations • Test and troubleshoot signals to ensure quality service delivery • Restore work sites and landscaping following project completion • Maintain tools, equipment, and work vehicles • Complete required documentation and work records • Follow all safety standards, industry regulations, and company procedures • Provide excellent customer service and educate customers on installed services and equipment • Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions • Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and around construction equipment • Ability to lift 50-80 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Reliable, organized, and safety-focused • Flexible to work on-call shifts, weekends, and holidays when required What We Offer

Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Kapolei, HI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $47840.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Excellent salary and benefits package to include paid time off, paid holidays, comprehensive health plan including medical, dental, vision, life, short-term disability insurance, and 401(k) plan with employer match.
