Team Lead – On-Machine & Cloud Software
Job Description: Internal Opportunity: Team Lead – On-Machine & Cloud Software Following the departure of Sebastian Wassberg, we are looking for an internal candidate to take the position of Team Lead for the On-Machine & Cloud Software team in Stockholm. This role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys combining people leadership with technical leadership and wants to help shape both the team and our software solutions going forward.
About the role As Team Lead, you will be responsible for the line management and development of the team, currently consisting of 6 Software and QA Test Engineers while continuing to contribute operationally within the organization. The position can be combined with hands-on involvement in software development, architecture, technical guidance, and project execution. You will work closely with R&D management, architects, Product Management, project stakeholders, and development teams across the organization to ensure that we have the right focus, priorities, and capabilities to deliver on our commitments.
Key responsibilities
• Lead and support the professional and personal development of team members, applying to our Hexagon Leadership Principles.
• Conduct line management activities including goal setting, coaching, feedback, and performance discussions.
• Drive team engagement and foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
• Maintain visibility of priorities, resource allocation, and team capacity.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align tactical focus and execution across projects.
• Continuously improve ways of working and promote effective collaboration within and across teams.
• Continuing to contribute to operational activities, e.g. software development activities, technical leadership, review of technical solutions and key deliverables and planning, coordination, and continuous improvement activities across the organization.
