Assistant Director - Graduate, International and Online Students
Position Description: Performs varied and complex administrative duties in the management and coordination of a large specialized project and/or program. Requires independent judgment and application of established policies and procedures. Works under general supervision with evaluation based on overall results obtained.

About the Department and/or College: The Assistant Director will focus on coordinating the Financial Well-being and Literacy initiatives of Graduate, TTU Online, and International Students. This position is an expansion of the currently existing Red to Black® Program. The action strategies below have been developed to communicate expectations and program direction.
Major/Essential Functions: • Promote financial well-being and literacy among graduate, online, international students and families by developing, implementing, and assessing educational programs, resources, and outreach initiatives that support informed financial decision-making and long-term financial success. • Collaborate with campus partners, including Student Financial Aid, Student Business Services, TTU Online, the Office of International Affairs, and the Graduate School, to integrate financial well-being and literacy into student programs and services, ensuring students have access to coordinated support and resources for educational financing and financial success. • Provide financial education and coaching to students and families, helping them develop financial knowledge, skills, and action plans that build financial confidence, support academic persistence, and promote responsible financial behaviors. • Contribute to the achievement of departmental and institutional goals by participating in program assessment, special projects, and other activities that advance students and families financial well-being and literacy.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in the area of specialization or closely related field. Three years of related administrative and technical experience. Additional job related education may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
Preferred Qualifications: • Master's degree in higher education, or equivalent area. • Knowledge of college student populations and effective financial education techniques and programs. • Knowledge of college student volunteers, advisement, training, recruitment, selection, and recognition.

Pay Statement: Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan.
