🚛 Part-Time Van Driver – Mattress & Furniture Collections Wicklow Mattress Recycling is a fully insured and licensed social enterprise providing hassle-free door to door collection for eco friendly recycling of beds, mattresses, sofas and other bulky furniture items. Wicklow Mattress Recycling is looking for a reliable and customer-focused Part-Time Van Driver to join our growing local business. The role You will be responsible for carrying out mattress and furniture collections from households and commercial customers across Wicklow, Dublin and surrounding areas for recycling. The role involves: * Driving a company van to scheduled collection locations * Collecting mattresses, beds and furniture * Loading and unloading items safely * Providing a friendly and professional service to customers * Completing collections efficiently and safely * Following company procedures for the handling and transport of collected items Essential requirements * Full, clean Category B driving licence * Ability to safely carry out the manual handling duties required for the role, including lifting, carrying and moving mattresses, beds and furniture * Reliable, punctual and responsible * Good communication and customer service skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Legal entitlement to work in Ireland Desirable, but not essential * Category C driving licence * Previous experience in delivery, removals, logistics, furniture or recycling * Experience driving a larger commercial vehicle * Manual handling training or experience What we offer * 2 guaranteed days per week initially * Potential for additional hours as the business grows * Opportunity for the role to develop over time * Training and appropriate PPE provided * Work with a growing, environmentally focused local business Interested?
