Main duties of the job
You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, contributing to clinical care, harm reduction and recovery-focused support for people with complex needs, promoting person-centred, trauma-informed care at all times.
Key responsibilities of this role will include:
Supporting the delivery of safe, effective clinical interventions Carrying out health assessments, observations and basic clinical procedures Supporting harm reduction initiatives, including BBV screening and health promotion Maintaining accurate clinical records in line with professional and organisational standards Working collaboratively a multi-disciplinary team, including nurses, recovery workers and external health professionals Contributing to safeguarding, risk management and service quality improvementThis position is offered on a part time and permanent basis. You will work 20 hours per week, with shifts to include 09:00 - 17:00, 07:00 - 12:00 and 16:00 - 21:00. Saturday working will be required to meet the needs of the service. The salary for this position is £27,283.20 - £37,312 per annum pro rata.

Evidence of a Nurse Associate qualification and NMC registration Evidence of post registration experience Interest in working in Substance Misuse and knowledge of treatments provided Evidence of working collaboratively with other members of a multi-disciplinary team, as well as the ability to work independently Evidence of medication administration and knowledge around CD administration Contribution to ongoing assessment of care, recognising when to refer to senior colleagues Clinical skills, including ECG monitoring, venepuncture and vital sign recording
