This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced mental health professional who is passionate about improving outcomes for people experiencing mental health challenges and is looking to further develop their leadership, management, and strategic capabilities.
We are seeking a dynamic mental health professional with substantial clinical experience across both secondary mental health services and primary care settings.
As part of a central leadership team, you will play a key role in the ongoing development and transformation of Enhanced Primary Care Mental Health Services across Mid and North Hampshire. Working closely with the Primary Care Mental Health Transformation Manager, you will contribute to the development and embedding of innovative models of care, strengthening multidisciplinary and multi-agency working across the system. The role requires building effective partnerships with Primary Care Networks, secondary care services, and voluntary and community sector organisations to deliver integrated, trauma-informed, and recovery-focused services that improve patient outcomes and experiences.
Please note this is a part time (30 hrs per week) 12 month fixed term contract
Main duties of the job
You will provide expert clinical leadership, supporting clinical governance, quality improvement, and service development, while also undertaking agreed line management responsibilities, including supporting staff performance, professional development, and wellbeing.
This role offers a unique opportunity to influence system-wide transformation and contribute to the future direction of community mental health services across Mid and North Hampshire. It is particularly suited to an individual who is motivated by service development, partnership working, and leading change across organisational boundaries while keeping the needs of patients and communities at the centre of everything they do.
Please note: This post is 30 hours per week, with hours required to be worked across a minimum of four days per week, including Thursdays and preferably Fridays.

Across Hampshire, our community hospitals provide inpatient rehabilitation as a step down from acute care, and our dedicated teams also staff Treetops Sexual Assault Referral Centre in Portsmouth, offering expert, compassionate support.
