Job SummaryYou will serve as an INVESTIGATOR in the OFFICE OF THE INVESTIGATOR GENERAL of NVRECRUITNGCMD.
QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Utilizing guidelines, regulations, and procedures associated with investigations of wrong doing (civil or administrative action) to complete assignments, including evidence detection and handling and drawing appropriate factual inferences and conclusions; 2. Appling laws, rules, and regulations for expenditure of government funds or the consumption or misuse of government property or resources; 3. Identifying and eliminating fraud, waste, mismanagement and gross negligence in accordance to policies and procedures; 4. Utilizing quantitative and qualitative methods, measurement, fact finding, and investigative techniques for making decisions on the administrative and programmatic aspects of agency assignments. Major DutiesYou will evaluate investigative findings and evidence to support civil or administrative action.You will plan the execution of investigations to assess allegations of fraud, waste, and abuse.You will advise others on the planning, development, or execution of policies concerning personnel investigations.You will inspect and assess organizational risk and control systems to determine if processes are efficient and effective in their operation.
