About the role
We're looking for an experienced HR Administrator to join our growing People team. It's a good fit if you have excellent attention to detail and enjoy supporting employees and managers across a wide range of HR activities.
The role suits an HR Administrator ready to take the next step in their career. Alongside core HR administration, you'll get exposure to a broad range of people matters and a clear development pathway towards an HR Advisor position.
Working closely with the Head of HR, you'll support the delivery of an efficient and professional HR service, making sure employee records, documentation and HR processes are managed accurately and within agreed timescales. As your knowledge and confidence grow, you'll take on more responsibility for first-line advice to managers and for supporting employee relations matters.

What you'll be doing Providing accurate HR administration across the full employee lifecycle, including new starters, contractual changes and leaversPreparing contracts of employment, offer letters, HR correspondence and other employee documentationMaintaining accurate employee records within the HRIS, meeting confidentiality and data protection requirementsCompleting Right to Work checks and other pre-employment screeningMonitoring probation periods, absence records and other key HR milestonesSupporting employee relations matters including absence, probation, performance management, disciplinary and grievance processesAssisting the Head of HR with employee relations casework, building towards ownership of straightforward casesSupporting managers with absence management and return-to-work processesCoordinating recruitment and onboarding activities for a well-organised new starter experienceProducing routine HR reports and management informationPreparing and providing accurate employee and payroll information to the external payroll provider within required timescalesResponding to employee and manager queries on HR policies, procedures and processesSupporting the review and improvement of HR policies, procedures, templates and ways of workingDeveloping your knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice with a view to progressing into an HR Advisor role What you'll bring
