Construction General Laborer
-Looking for a construction general laborer with paid Per Diem, working throughout the Southeast, United States.
The Construction General Laborer assists with a variety of tasks on construction sites, including site preparation, material handling, and supporting skilled trades to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist tradesmen and machine operators in construction projects.
• Unload and carry materials at construction sites.
• Use equipment to break old forms and structures.
• Prepare and apply construction materials to build structures or fill gaps (e.g cement).
• Clean out site from debris and discarded material.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as construction worker.
• Comfortability around heavy equipment and machinery.
• Able to work in a team.
• Able to read and follow instructions.
• Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written).
• Excellent balance and eye-hand coordination.
• Ability to stand for long hours; ability to lift heavy objects, up to 40 lbs.; ability to work in outdoor conditions (extreme heat, cold, and humidity).
Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Participation in pre-employment and random drug screening program
• Subject to background screening
