About this role
Duties: - Clean and perform maintenance work at recreation parks and facilities- Campground, ball diamond and playground maintenance- Mow grass at City properties- Plant and maintain City flowers- Clean public washrooms, change rooms, and shower houses- Remove garbage from facility garbage cans- General cleaning duties- Perform snow removal ensuring facility sidewalks and entrances are free from ice and other debris- Perform basic maintenance- Maintain indoor and outdoor rink surfaces- Record data collected from ice plant- Arranging seating, tables, and other necessary items- Strip and apply floor wax- Other duties as assigned Qualifications: - Satisfactory results from a criminal record check - On the job training will be provided Skills & Abilities:- Valid Saskatchewan Driver's License- Ability to work with minimal supervision- Working knowledge of The Occupational Health and Safety regulations- Must be able and willing to perform all duties of the job in various weather conditions for extended periods.- Good communication and comprehension ability(written and oral)- Capable of operating maintenance equipment and hand tools in an efficient and responsible manner For a complete job description visit: https://meadowlake.ca/job-postings
