About this role
General Duties: - Operating equipment, such as street sweepers, dump trucks, skid-steers, vacuum trucks- Removing snow from streets, sidewalks, and other municipal property - Spreading salt and sand for ice control- Maintaining the municipal compost site- Road and street maintenance- Loading and unloading trucks with supplies, equipment, and other materials- Seasonal clean-up- Carrying out daily safety procedures and documentation- Reporting daily activities and maintaining accurate records- Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: Education & Certifications- Valid Class 3A Saskatchewan drivers license- Satisfactory results from a criminal record check and drivers abstract- Powered mobile equipment (PME) certification, or equivalent Experience- A minimum of 1-year previous experience in a similar capacity Knowledge, Skills & Abilities- Must be able and willing to operate a dump truck or vacuum truck- Knowledge of equipment maintenance- Ability to work with minimal supervision- Must be able and willing to perform all duties of the job in various weather conditions for extended periods- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and productive working relationships- Good communication and comprehension ability - written and oral Visit our website meadowlake.ca/p/job-postings to view the full list of duties and requirements for this position.
