The Fleet Services Division of the Department of Public Works supports the backbone of our provincial highway infrastructure. We are located at Miller Lake, the central Fleet Services hub of the province. At Miller Lake, we are pivotal in ensuring the equipment used to maintain, repair, and build Nova Scotia's 23,000 kilometers of roads and highways, and 4,100 bridges, is always ready to go.

About Our Opportunity
You will be responsible for the management, planning and coordination of all inventory activities, control of the fleet inventories at the central mechanical stores operations at Miller Lake and the provincial inventory fleet operations in the divisional stores at each provincial district. You are also responsible for the procurement of all the parts for the provincial fleet operation.
Primary Accountabilities
As the Provincial Inventory Coordinator, you will manage and implement enhancements to the SAP on-line inventory system. This includes ensuring that the maintenance, updating and input/output of the SAP inventory system is completed correctly and on a timely basis. Also includes attendance at meetings locally and outside the province in relation to SAP improvements.
