Job SummaryYou will serve as a Lead Shipbuilding Specialist in the Waterfront Operations Department of SOUTHWEST REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CENTER.
QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Manage dive-team resources by coordinating work acceptance, repair planning, quality assurance, and milestone tracking to execute Underwater Ship Husbandry (UWSH) repairs for Navy vessels. Major DutiesYou will lead a team including civilians, military and contractors.You will manage repair efforts by providing technical oversight and coordination to administer repair.You will track production workload to determine manpower requirements to accomplish tasks related to waterfront repair on various ships.You will determine and maintain job orders to progress repair processes and preparation of progress reports for jobs.You will analyze work schedules, assignment, production and method of operations for navy dive teams.You will insure all diving operations are conducted in s safe, efficient and effective manner.
