Not only when there is a problem, but precisely to know what is going on in schools, which developments are occupying employees, and where opportunities lie to stand stronger together. Therefore, we are looking for an enthusiastic and independent secondary education sector consultant for 8 hours per week for the region from the Betuwe to the Randmeren (Flevopolder). As a sector consultant, you are the face of the AOb in your region. You are regularly present at schools and actively seek contact with staff in secondary education. - builds and maintains a network of members, potential members, active members, and other stakeholders in secondary education; - engages in dialogue with staff about what is happening at their school and within education; - identifies developments, bottlenecks, and opportunities and brings these to the attention within the AOb; - informs employees about the AOb, the collective labour agreement and current developments that are of importance to them; - supports members and employees in finding answers to questions about work, employment conditions, and employee participation; - encourages employees to take initiative themselves and collectively stand up for their interests; - organizes or supports meetings, work visits, and other activities in the region; - establishes connections between employees and active members at various schools; - collaborates with executives, district directors, and colleagues within the AOb; - contributes to strengthening the position and visibility of the AOb in secondary education.
