Join the Spine Center as a Patient Service Specialist and become an important part of a team helping patients navigate their spine care. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and coordinating care in a busy specialty clinic.
Our Spine Clinic cares for patients with a variety of spinal conditions, including back and neck pain, disc disorders, nerve-related conditions, and patients who may require surgical evaluation or ongoing treatment.

This is a full-time, day shift position!
What You'll Do
As a Patient Service Specialist, you will help create a positive experience from the patient's first phone call through their clinic visit.
• Welcome, check in, and assist patients with professional and compassionate service.
• Schedule new and established patient appointments with the appropriate provider.
• Process incoming referrals and ensure required records, imaging, and documentation are available.
• Coordinate with providers, clinical staff, referring offices, imaging departments, and other healthcare teams.
• Answer incoming calls and help patients navigate appointments, referrals, and general clinic questions.
• Maintain accurate patient demographics, insurance information, consents, and medical records.
• Collect patient payments and assist with basic billing and insurance questions.
• Manage appointment requests, work queues, patient messages, and other administrative tasks within the electronic health record.
• Help keep patient flow organized and providers' schedules running efficiently.
QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Clerical: typing, filing, scheduling, computer, phone
• Exceptional customer service skills required
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Receptionist/clerical experience required
• Patient care background preferred
• Experience in a clinical setting highly preferred.
SALARY RANGE
• ‎$19.00- $27.75/hour
• Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
