About this role

Core Responsibilities:  Supervise Cage Cashiers and Main Bankers; provide direct oversight and direction during assigned shifts.  Monitor compliance with New York State Video Lottery regulations, internal controls, and company procedures.  Assist in creating and managing shift schedules for cashiers and main bank staff.  Issue cashier banks/drawers; track and manage cash flow through all cages during the shift.  Direct and support cashiers in handling transactions, resolving guest issues, and maintaining service standards.  Maintain accurate cash balances; perform shift reconciliations and variance investigations.  Train associates on procedures, regulations, equipment, and guest service protocols.  Coordinate with Security and Surveillance to ensure a safe environment for guests and employees.  Handle escalated guest concerns and large money transactions professionally.  Role model the company's guest service program; treat all guests and associates individually and professionally.  Support the Cage Manager with operational reports, staffing needs, and process improvements.  Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:  High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.  Minimum of three (3) years of progressive supervisory experience in cage operations or cash handling required or equivalent.  Must be able to obtain and maintain a New York State Gaming License.

Skills & Abilities:  Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.  Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (email, Word, Excel) for spreadsheets, data input, and record keeping.  Solid understanding of cash management, reconciliation, and regulatory compliance.  Basic math skills (addition, subtraction).  Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with large financial transactions.

Physical & Scheduling Requirements  Able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds occasionally.  Able to stand/walk for extended periods during shift.  Required to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
