Esse Health is searching for a full-time Purchasing & Facilities Manager for our Central Office / HUB located in Town & Country!
Summary:
The Purchasing & Facilities Manager is responsible for acquiring, storing, and distributing supplies and equipment, ensuring that all purchases provide the best combination of quality and cost through competitive bidding processes. This role supports the expansion or remodeling of Esse Health locations by coordinating with offices, the Business Office/HUB, and external vendors and suppliers. Responsibilities include weekly vaccine procurement (excluding flu) and annual flu vaccine planning and distribution. The Manager oversees purchasing and maintenance functions, supervises assigned staff, codes invoices, and resolves discrepancies or service issues. This position also acts as the back-up liaison to the Business Office/HUB Building Management Company and manages facility-related needs.

Day-to-Day:
• Supervises Receptionist
• Provides timely performance reviews for team member
• Ensures timely and accurate procurement of supplies, vaccines, equipment, and services
• Manages cost-effective purchasing through review, bidding, and vendor contract negotiations
• Coordinates printing services for patient mailings, forms, business cards, and brochures
• Maintains a log of purchasing sources and prices
• Ensures correct credit/debit transactions for physician office supplies and vaccines
• Handles order discrepancies, back orders, and service or repair calls
• Matches packing slips to invoices, codes charges to departments, submits approved invoices to Accounts Payable for payment processing
• Manages all parcel deliveries and ensures distribution to appropriate departments or offices
• Manages day-to-day Business Office facility needs and serves as back-up liaison to Building Management
• Coordinates or assists with office relocations and projects, including vendor coordination and procurement of office/medical furniture and supplies
• Performs other duties as assigned
Who we are seeking:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent required
• Minimum of two years supervisory experience
• Minimum three years purchasing experience in a medical group or hospital
• Effective at organizing and managing multiple priorities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
