Job Summary:
The Sales Operations Specialist plays a critical role in enabling sales growth and operational efficiency by serving as the primary liaison between Sales, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Finance. This position is responsible for managing customer accounts, coordinating product requests and shipments, ensuring accurate account balances and settlements, and supporting sales execution through disciplined process alignment. This role directly impacts customer satisfaction, revenue realization, data integrity, and the successful execution of corporate sales and operation strategies. The successful candidate will be based at one of our primary locations: Westfield, IN; Battle Creek, NE; or St. Francisville, IL. Candidates must reside within a commutable distance of their selected location or be willing to relocate.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Deliver high quality, responsive customer service experience to internal sales teams and external customers.
• Manage assigned customer accounts, including product requests, order coordination, shipment execution, and account settlement within a designated geography.
• Serve as the primary Sales Support expert for the assigned region, providing guidance on processes, systems and account activity.
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, and other stakeholders to ensure timely execution of key business deliverables (e.g., month-end close, year-end activities, shipping deadlines, account receivable).
• Maintain and safeguard data integrity for assigned accounts, ensuring accuracy in systems, reporting, and financial outcomes.
• Provide system and transaction processing support to ensure sales activities comply with established operational and financial controls.
• Influence account behavior to align with sales and operational plans, including guiding customers and sales teams through non-optimal scenarios, new processes, tools and system implementations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, including developing subject matter expertise in systems, processes, or functional areas.
• Ensure compliance with corporate timelines and deadlines for all assigned accounts and responsibilities.
• Communicate and implement brand directives consistently across customer interactions and account activities.
• Uphold a high standard of professionalism and customer service while projecting a positive image of GDM Genetics, AgirGold Hybrids, and Mustang Seeds.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
• Prior customer service, sales support, or account coordination experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the seed or agricultural industry preferred.
• ]Must have valid driver's license and meet MVR guidelines.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to work required business hours.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Limited overnight travel required.
