Time period From March 2027 for a period of 6 months Tasks Conduct literature reviews, develop concepts, and perform simulations of system components (magnetic couplers, compensation networks, and power electronics) for inductive wireless power transfer systems (22 kW+) Build, commission, and characterize prototype systems Plan, coordinate, and execute experimental test campaigns Requirements Currently enrolled in an engineering degree program (Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field of study). Solid knowledge of electromagnetics/electrodynamics and common simulation methodologies on component and circuit level. Strong background in electrical engineering, particularly power electronics, as well as testing and measurement techniques. Basic knowledge of circuit design and PCB development is desirable. Good written and spoken German and English language skills.
