Job Description The role is responsible for IT/network warehouse operations, asset tracking, equipment staging, dispatch/collection, RMA/vendor coordination, and Level 1 support for basic network checks, connectivity troubleshooting, and deployment assistance across enterprise networking and security equipment. LOGISTICS & ASSET MANAGEMENT • Receive, inspect, asset-tag, label, store, issue, dispatch, and track network hardware and accessories. • Maintain inventory records for models, serial numbers, asset tags, warranty/support status, site location, stock movement, and project assignment. • Manage spare units, replacement devices, SFPs, cables, modules, power supplies, and related network accessories. • Coordinate delivery, collection, and equipment movement between warehouse, office, vendor, and customer sites. • Prepare equipment for deployment, including packing, labeling, staging, base records, and handover documentation. • Manage RMA, faulty unit replacement, warranty claims, repair tracking, return-to-vendor, and vendor follow-up. • Maintain delivery notes, collection forms, stock reports, inventory trackers, and audit-ready warehouse records. LEVEL 1 NETWORK SUPPORT • Perform basic checks for power, cabling, LED status, link status, port status, SFP status, and physical connectivity. • Assist with device staging, rack-and-stack, patching, labeling, hardware replacement, and site deployment activities. • Support basic troubleshooting for LAN, WAN, WLAN, firewall, and connectivity incidents or service requests. • Collect hostnames, IP addresses, serial numbers, models, firmware versions, interface status, screenshots, and basic logs. • Perform simple ping, traceroute, cable checks, link verification, and post-replacement connectivity testing. • Update network documentation including port maps, rack layouts, deployment trackers, and inventory records. • Escalate complex configuration, routing, firewall, wireless, or security issues to Level 2/3 engineers with clear diagnostics. Qualifications • At least Higher Nitec in IT / Engineering related field with at least 3 years of related experience. Fresh ITE graduates are welcome to apply. • Experience in logistics, warehouse operations, inventory control, IT asset management, or network equipment handling. • Able to identify switches, routers, firewalls, access points, SFPs, modules, cables, power supplies, and rack/patching components. • Basic knowledge of LAN, WAN, WLAN, IP addressing, VLANs, cabling, rack layout, and first-level connectivity checks. • Strong coordination with vendors, couriers, suppliers, field engineers, project managers, and technical teams. • Good documentation using spreadsheets, ticketing tools, inventory systems, asset trackers, and handover records. • Willing to support site rollout, hardware refresh, equipment replacement, and maintenance windows when required.
