Salary: £50,000 - 70,000 per year
Requirements: Strong commercial experience with Kubernetes (K8s) administration and engineering.Hands-on experience with Docker and containerisation technologies.Experience with at least one major cloud platform: Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Strong understanding of Linux systems administration.Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform, Ansible, Bicep, or equivalent.Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk.Strong troubleshooting and performance optimisation skills.Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD, CKS).Experience with OpenShift.Service Mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd).GitOps tooling such as ArgoCD or Flux.Experience in regulated financial services or large enterprise environments.Exposure to platform engineering and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain Kubernetes clusters across cloud and/or on-premises environments.Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerised applications using Kubernetes and Docker.Implement infrastructure automation and platform engineering best practices.Collaborate with development, architecture, security, and operations teams to deliver cloud-native solutions.Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated application delivery.Monitor platform performance, availability, and security, proactively identifying areas for improvement.
