Salary: £15,000 - 15,000 per year
Requirements: We are looking for an established engineering leader with experience leading software engineering teams at scale within a consultancy, technology services or professional services environment.We need a strong track record of building, mentoring and developing engineering leaders and high-performing teams.We need deep understanding of modern software engineering practices including cloud technologies, DevOps, automation and secure software delivery.We need experience delivering complex software solutions across multiple customers, programmes or business units.We need strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at senior leadership level.We need commercial awareness and experience supporting business growth through bids, proposals and customer engagement.We value a passion for innovation and interest in the opportunities presented by AI-enabled engineering practices. Responsibilities: We report to the Head of Application Modernisation and define and drive our engineering strategy while leading the continued growth of our engineering capability.We work closely with leaders across Architecture, Delivery, Testing, Data and AI, and Commercial teams.We build and lead a high-performing engineering community.We establish and embed engineering standards, governance and best practice.We champion modern software engineering, cloud-native development, DevOps and AI-assisted delivery.We drive quality, consistency and delivery excellence across client engagements.We develop future engineering leaders and strengthen capability across the business.We play a key role in strategic bids, client engagements and proposition development.
