Quality Inspector Join Our Team Are you passionate about quality, precision, and ensuring products meet the highest standards? We're seeking a Quality Inspector to play a critical role in verifying that our products meet engineering specifications, customer requirements, and company quality standards before they reach our customers.In this hands-on role, you'll perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections, analyze quality data, identify nonconformances, and collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to drive continuous improvement. What You'll Do 🔍 Perform Product Inspections

• Conduct final inspections of parts and assemblies prior to shipment. • Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using: • Calipers • Micrometers • Gauges • CMMs • Optical measurement systems

• Inspect carbon fiber and composite components for defects such as: • Delaminations • Voids • Dimensional deviations

• Verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements. 📝 Manage Quality Documentation

• Record and maintain inspection results within quality management systems. • Ensure complete traceability of lot numbers, inspection records, and quality documentation. • Identify, quarantine, and document nonconforming materials and products. • Create accurate records of defects, discrepancies, rework activities, and corrective actions. 📐 Interpret Technical Requirements

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and GD&T requirements. • Determine appropriate inspection methods and measurement techniques. • Evaluate dimensions, functionality, and overall product quality against specifications. 🚀 Drive Continuous Improvement

• Support root cause investigations and corrective action efforts. • Recommend improvements to inspection procedures and quality processes. • Help reduce inspection cycle times and improve operational efficiency. • Partner with Quality Engineers, Production teams, and suppliers to resolve quality issues. ⚙️ Support Manufacturing Operations

• Prioritize inspection activities to meet production schedules and shipment deadlines. • Inspect large-scale assemblies, including wings, tail fins, motor pods, and other complex components. • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections as needed. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications ✅ 2+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment✅ Experience performing:

• Visual inspections • Dimensional inspections • Functional inspections ✅ Proficiency with precision measurement equipment:

• Calipers • Micrometers • Gauges • CMMs • Optical measurement systems ✅ Ability to:

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints • Understand manufacturing specifications • Apply GD&T principles during inspection activities • Identify and control nonconforming material ✅ Experience with:

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of San Francisco, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $36.00 - $42.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
