Job Title: Inventory AssociateJob DescriptionThe Inventory Associate plays a key role in supporting production by accurately managing materials, executing warehouse tasks, and maintaining data integrity across inventory and purchasing systems. This position combines hands-on material handling with the use of proprietary software and ERP tools to ensure that inventory levels, inbound shipments, and production needs are aligned and efficiently supported.Responsibilities
• Physically move and expedite materials to support production and ensure work orders are completed on schedule. • Verify that all materials are properly packaged, bagged, and tagged before being handed off to the production floor. • Use proprietary software and ERP systems to complete warehouse tasks and record the movement of parts. • Document system issues, process flaws, and inefficiencies, and communicate findings to quality control, purchasing, and other related departments to drive resolution. • Assist in maintaining data accuracy so that all inventory tools, reports, and processes function as expected. • Manage inbound shipments, including purchase order tracking and maintenance, monitoring fill rates, resolving operational issues, and handling vendor communications. • Analyze inventory positions and SKU performance to determine inventory needs and support replenishment decisions. • Execute a variety of purchase order, in-stock, and vendor-related system tasks and reports to keep inventory and purchasing activities up to date. • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and hand carts in a safe and efficient manner. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to projects that span multiple departments and business areas. • Meet tight deadlines while working on several tasks or projects simultaneously, maintaining high levels of organization and accuracy. Essential Skills
• High school diploma or equivalent. • 2+ years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, or project management, or a Bachelor's degree. • Experience with MS Office Professional Suite, including Microsoft Excel, to manipulate and analyze data. • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach, with or without reasonable accommodation. • Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift. • At least 1 year of relevant experience as an Associate Planner or Associate Buyer. • Strong execution of data and processes with high attention to detail and accuracy. • Comfort working with business software and ERP systems. • Good written and oral communication skills. • Highly organized, self-starting, and able to work in a team-oriented environment. • Ability to meet tight deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, warehousing, inventory control, or related fields. • 2+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel, with the ability to navigate, interpret, and analyze data. • Experience using ERP systems, including platforms such as SAP. • Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and hand carts safely and efficiently. • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and operational needs. • Ability to work from a company-wide perspective and encourage cross-functional and cross-business project development.
