Job Title: Production Technician I / Production AssociateJob DescriptionThe Production Technician I works in a clean room manufacturing environment assembling medical devices using hand tools, basic equipment, and manual assembly techniques. This role follows detailed written work instructions and quality standards to ensure products are assembled accurately, safely, and efficiently. The position is ideal for individuals who are mechanically inclined, enjoy working with their hands, and have strong attention to detail. Prior medical device experience is not required, but the ability to learn new processes, follow procedures, and perform repetitive tasks with precision is essential.Responsibilities

• Assemble medical devices using hand tools, fixtures, and basic manufacturing equipment according to established procedures. • Follow written work instructions, documented procedures, and quality standards to ensure consistent and accurate assembly. • Perform all tasks in a clean room environment while adhering to safety protocols and company guidelines. • Inspect small parts and assembled products visually to identify defects or quality issues, using corrective lenses if needed. • Report any product defects, quality concerns, or equipment issues promptly to supervision. • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area in accordance with clean room and safety requirements. • Handle small components with hands and fingers carefully to avoid damage and ensure precise assembly. • Work at a fast manufacturing pace while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. • Meet daily production goals and output targets without compromising quality standards. • Wear required clean room attire, including mask and hood covering the face and hair except the eyes, and use all provided personal protective equipment. • Adhere to company policies, safety rules, and clean room protocols throughout the shift. Essential Skills

• High school diploma or GED, with a physical copy required. • Ability to work at a fast manufacturing pace in a production environment. • Ability to handle small components with hands and fingers with precision. • Ability to inspect small parts visually, using corrective lenses if needed. • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy during repetitive tasks. • Ability to follow written work instructions and procedures consistently. • Comfort working in a clean room environment with required protective clothing, including mask and hood. • Ability to stand for a 12-hour shift. • Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with basic hand tools and equipment. • Reliability and commitment to meeting production goals and quality expectations. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in production, general labor, or general manufacturing is beneficial. • Experience in assembly work, including handling small parts, is a plus. • Experience working in a clean room environment is helpful but not required. • Familiarity with machine operation or basic manufacturing equipment is an advantage. • Forklift experience is a plus but not required. • Previous exposure to medical device or regulated manufacturing environments is beneficial but not mandatory. • GMP experience is not essential for this role. The schedule is 1st shift, 5:23 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Sunday through Wednesday, with 12-hour shifts that require extended periods of standing. All required personal protective equipment is provided, including clean room attire such as a mask and hood that cover the face and hair except for the eyes. Work is performed at a fast manufacturing pace using hand tools, fixtures, and basic equipment, with a focus on assembling and inspecting small components in a controlled, clean environment. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, AZ. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.75 - $19.75/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
