Job Title: General Production WorkerJob DescriptionThis role supports a regulated production line where each team member operates within an individual work cell. You will handle lubrication liquids and glass bottles from start to finish, including filling, capping, sealing, labeling, inspecting, and carefully packing products that are subject to FDA regulations. You will rotate through various stations, contribute to packaging and shipping activities, and document quality issues or shipment delays as needed to ensure safe, accurate, and timely delivery of products.Responsibilities
• Work on a production line within an individual work cell to perform end-to-end tasks on lubrication liquids and glass bottles. • Pour lubrication liquid into bottles with attention to accuracy and cleanliness. • Cap, seal, and label glass bottles according to established procedures and regulatory requirements. • Inspect bottles and finished products for quality, accuracy, and defects before packing. • Box, wrap, and pack glass merchandise carefully to prevent damage and maintain compliance with FDA regulations. • Package, label, and stack boxes in the designated shipping area in an organized and efficient manner. • Rotate through different production and packaging stations, wearing multiple hats as needed to support daily operations. • Document any quality issues, production concerns, or shipment delays in a clear and timely manner. • Support general production, assembly, and packing tasks as assigned to meet daily output goals. • Assist with machine operation and basic production equipment tasks as needed. • Collaborate with the shipping team and, if qualified, help load trucks using a forklift. • Follow cleanroom, GMP, and manufacturing standards to maintain a safe and compliant work environment. • Perform repetitive tasks while maintaining focus on quality and consistency throughout the shift. • Lift up to 20 pounds sporadically throughout the day in support of production and shipping activities. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Skokie, IL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
