Job Title: Construction LaborerJob DescriptionThis role supports ironworkers and construction crews on large, high-profile industrial job sites. The laborer assists with lifting and rigging activities, helps assemble steel racks and connectors, and maintains a clean, safe work area. The position is physically demanding, requires strong attention to safety, and calls for flexibility to perform a wide variety of tasks as needed on site.Responsibilities

• Assist ironworkers with daily tasks, including handling materials, tools, and equipment to support steel erection and related activities. • Spot lift work and support rigging operations by safely guiding loads, maintaining clear communication, and following all safety protocols. • Sweep, clean, and organize the work area regularly to maintain a safe, hazard-free environment. • Bolt racks and steel connectors together accurately and securely, following instructions and construction drawings as directed. • Perform general labor duties such as material handling, staging, and site cleanup throughout the workday. • Remain flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks beyond primary laborer duties, based on site needs and direction from supervisors. • Work effectively in a high-productivity, high-pressure environment, meeting daily production and headcount expectations. • Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality to support strict project deadlines and staffing requirements. • Work safely at heights and across large job sites, adhering to all safety standards and using required protective equipment. • Lift and carry materials weighing 50 pounds or more and stay on your feet for extended periods during 10-hour shifts. • Walk several miles per day across a large construction site, including from parking areas to work zones. • Follow all site rules, procedures, and safety guidelines established by the construction teams and site management. Essential Skills

• At least 3 years of commercial construction experience, with a strong understanding of industrial job site practices. • Proven experience performing general labor duties on construction sites, including material handling and site cleanup. • OSHA 10 certification, demonstrating knowledge of basic construction safety standards and practices. • Ability to work safely at heights and remain comfortable performing tasks on elevated structures. • Capability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and remain on your feet for 10-hour shifts. • Ability to walk several miles per day across a large, active construction site. • Reliability and strong attendance, with a commitment to meeting daily production and scheduling expectations. • Willingness to work in a high-pressure, high-productivity environment with tight deadlines. • Flexibility to perform a wide range of tasks beyond a single trade or function as site needs change. • Comfort starting work very early in the morning, including start times as early as 4 a.m. during summer months. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working at large semiconductor or advanced manufacturing facilities, such as TSMC, is preferred. • Experience working with steel contractors or supporting ironworkers on major structural projects is preferred. • Familiarity with rigging support, spotting lifts, and working around heavy equipment is beneficial. • Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced industrial construction environment. • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work cooperatively with diverse construction crews. Start times can vary and may be as early as 4 a.m. during the summer. The environment is high-productivity and high-pressure, with tight deadlines and strict attendance expectations. The site is expansive, requiring significant walking between parking areas and work zones. Work is physically demanding, involves lifting heavy materials, and frequently requires working at heights. You will operate in an outdoor and indoor construction setting, surrounded by active crews, equipment, and ongoing industrial operations, following all safety procedures and wearing appropriate construction attire and protective gear. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
