About this role
Your mission <p>You own procurement across the full project lifecycle – from RFQ to delivery – and build the commercial framework that supports our multi-site rollout. This means driving competitive sourcing for equipment and services, negotiating master supply agreements with key vendors, and ensuring contract terms protect TURN2X on quality, schedule, and liability. You work closely with Engineering and Project Management and report directly to the CTO.</p> Your Responsibilities <p><strong>Project Procurement</strong></p><ul><li>Lead procurement for plant projects: equipment packages, bulk materials and services (civil, E&I, mechanical)</li><li>Manage the full sourcing cycle: RFQ preparation, bid evaluation, commercial negotiation and award</li><li>Maintain and develop the vendor base; qualify new suppliers for critical equipment categories</li><li>Coordinate with Engineering on technical specifications, Material Requisitions and datasheet alignment</li><li>Track delivery schedules, expedite vendors proactively, and escalate early on risk items</li><li>Manage procurement cost tracking and report against project budgets</li></ul><p><strong>Framework Agreements & Vendor Strategy</strong></p><ul><li>Identify and prioritize candidates for master supply agreements across recurring equipment and service categories</li><li>Negotiate and conclude framework contracts covering pricing, lead times, Incoterms, warranty, and liability</li><li>Build long-term vendor relationships that support volume leverage as rollout scales</li><li>Develop a preferred vendor list aligned with standardization and quality requirements</li></ul><p><strong>Contract & Terms Management</strong></p><ul><li>Review and negotiate supply and service contracts: payment terms, delivery conditions, penalties, liquidated damages clauses, IP provisions</li><li>Maintain a contract register; track key obligations, expiry dates, and renewal windows</li><li>Lead claim and dispute resolution with suppliers in coordination with management</li><li>Ensure procurement compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations</li><li>Continuously improve standard contract templates and general terms & conditions</li></ul> Your profile <ul><li>Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent; technical background preferred</li><li>At least 5 years of procurement experience in plant engineering, EPC or capital equipment environments</li><li>Proven track record in negotiating supply contracts for mechanical, process or electrical equipment</li><li>Experience with framework/master agreements and strategic vendor management</li><li>Solid understanding of contract law fundamentals, Incoterms, and commercial risk allocation</li><li>Experience in global sourcing is a must and from Asian markets is a distinct advantage</li><li>Familiarity with process industry equipment (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, instrumentation, piping) is a strong plus</li><li>Analytical, detail-oriented, and commercially driven – you read contracts carefully and negotiate firmly</li><li>Fluent English required; German or Spanish language skills are an advantage</li></ul>
