About this role
As a General Accountant, you will support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth execution of daily accounting operations. You will assist with Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), invoice processing, account reconciliations, and month-end closing activities. This role is an excellent opportunity to develop practical accounting skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, VAT, SSO, and other statutory requirements. Record accounting entries accurately and on time. Review vendor invoices and communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and reconcile accounts. Assist in preparing management reports. Collaborate with the management accounting team during month-end closing activities. Support the finance team with urgent projects as needed.
