About this role

Job summary

Working with our People teams, you'll help create a fair and inclusive workplace where every colleague feels valued. You'll support staff networks, leaders and teams across City Health Care Partnership CIC, helping diverse voices shape how we work. Your contribution will strengthen colleague experience and support excellent patient care

Main duties of the job

What you'll do:

Lead projects that improve workplace culture, inclusion and colleague engagement Support staff networks and coordinate inclusion and awareness events Advise managers on equality law, inclusive practice and sensitive workforce matters Design and deliver training, workshops and team development sessions Use workforce data and feedback to identify gaps and measure progress What we're looking for:

You'll have a relevant Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience, alongside evidence of continued professional development. You'll understand the Equality Act 2010 and the principles of Fairness, Respect, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Engagement (FREDIE).

We welcome experience gained from different sectors. You'll be a clear communicator who can build trust, influence others and manage projects across a complex organisation. Experience of advising managers, supporting change and supervising colleagues is essential.

Person Specification

Qualifications Essential

Level 5 qualification in a relevant subject e.g. human Resources, Equality and Diversity or equivalent experience Evidence of Continuing Professional Development

Desirable

CIPD Associate membership or higher Management, coaching, mentoring qualification Project Management Qualification e.g PRINCE 2

Experience Essential

Experience in providing advice to managers and staff on all aspects of workforce initiatives and engagement Experience of implementing new innovations and change projects across a complex organisation Supervising junior staff Working in a multi professional environment

Desirable

Developing and implementing policies and Procedures Working pro-actively with trade unions Working within the NHS or public service organisation Developing training on HR related matters Experience of drafting briefing papers and documents including the delivery of presentations up to executive level

Knowledge Essential

Detailed knowledge of up-to-date employment legislation including the requirements of the Equality Act 2010 Highly developed knowledge of the principles of FREDIE with a good understanding of protected and vulnerable groups Understanding of the national NHS People Plan and People Promise agenda

Desirable

Principles of change management Knowledge of NHS workforce agenda, funding streams and wider healthcare economy Understanding of NHS terms and conditions of employment
