Main duties of the job
Operational Delivery & Efficiency: Complete daily shift plans within agreed timescales while adhering to approved Trust methods and recognized procedures.
Hygiene & Compliance Standards: Ensure continuous compliance with updated NHS Cleaning Guidelines, active participation in the Cleanliness in Hospitals Programme, and strict adherence to Trust Health and Safety policies.
Quality Assurance & Performance Monitoring: Conduct weekly departmental performance audits to consistently achieve and maintain high Trust standards.
Waste Management & Safety: Execute correct waste segregation and disposal procedures in full alignment with the Trust waste disposal policy

Deliver High-Standard Cleaning: Maintain exceptional cleanliness in line with National Cleaning Standards.
Autonomous Working: Execute tasks efficiently and reliably without direct supervision.
Handover & Communication: Provide accurate, clear verbal and written handovers to ensure seamless operational continuity.
Requirements & Essential Criteria
Experience: Proven track record in professional cleaning (NHS experience is not essentialall aligned skill sets are welcome).
Standards Knowledge: Basic understanding of National Cleaning Standards.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills (essential for critical handover information).
