Would you like to be part of our forward-thinking, progressive, and dynamic Recovery and Wellbeing College? Do you enjoy a varied work week, and facilitating free health and wellbeing courses to members of the public?
As a Locality Co-ordinator you will have knowledge of your locality, it's needs, and the services within the geographical area. You will be encouraged to utilise your expertise in new ways to support the wellbeing of people in the community, and develop your skills. You will work in a key role supporting students, facilitators, and coordinating the Recovery and Wellbeing College course delivery alongside an innovative team.
This role includes hybrid, home based work using digital technology. This post is part time (up to 30 hrs/week).
You will be required to travel to community and NHS venues in Kent & Medway.

Main duties of the job
To co-ordinate and facilitate the virtual Recovery and Wellbeing College provision. To enhance student experience by compassionate communication. To enhance co-facilitator experience by providing high quality support and supervision. To coordinate and create the prospectus, and promote across localities. To coordinate administration tasks and liaise with partners and venues. To manage enrolments, independent learning plans, registers, facilitator absence, and course cover.

This role supports people to take control of their own recovery journey, enabling transitions across, out of and beyond services.
We embed recovery-focused language and a culture of co-production, shared learning and strength-based approaches, creating safe spaces and recovery-focused opportunities. The role provides students with learning experiences which promote self-care, recovery, and wellbeing.
As a Locality Coordinator you will have knowledge of your locality, its needs, and the services within the geographical area. You will work in a key role co-facilitating courses, supporting students, facilitators, and coordinating course delivery alongside an innovative team. The role includes managing people with lived expertise of facing and overcoming mental health challenges, and engaging external stakeholders.

Knowledge & Skills Essential
Knowledge of the defining features of a recovery college and the ethos, Awareness of a range of different training and facilitation methods Ability to teach and facilitate subjects related to recovery and self-management Good range of IT skills including use of excel & power-point Organisational skills and ability to time manage training, managerial and administrative demands Excellent interpersonal and written skills Ability to deliver training and effective learning outcomes

Attended Recovery College Courses/Workshops
Experience Essential
Experience of dealing professionally with people experiencing difficult situations Current experience and evidence of using lived experience in a work/voluntary capacity Personal/close relational experience of health & Wellbeing recovery and use of supportive services Able to communicate with people at all levels within the organisation
Desirable
Experience working in an educational/ training establishment
Training, Qualifications and Registration Essential
Evidence of study at Diploma Level and above.
