As a Housekeeping Assistant - Bank, you will be an integral part of maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards at Moorlands Lodge Care Home in Hindhead. You will be responsible for ensuring that all areas under your care meet our hotel service standards of cleanliness and that laundry is managed efficiently. Your duties will involve following worksheet instructions for cleaning tasks, understanding different cleaning requirements for various surfaces, and treating residents with dignity and respect at all times. This role requires an individual who is adaptable, flexible, and capable of covering a range of responsibilities at short notice. Knowledge of Health and Safety, Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments is essential. The successful candidate will also demonstrate compassion and commitment to providing exceptional housekeeping and laundry services. Your focus asHousekeepingAssistant will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry aremaintainedin the home.You will operate according to our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards are maintained.

Understandingthe cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials, ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition. Ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected..
