Main duties of the job The role of a Residential Care Manager at Avery Healthcare involves managing Care Supervisors to ensure high-quality personal care delivery to residents. The manager acts as an advocate for residents, focusing on their wellbeing in all areas. Responsibilities include coordinating resident assessments, supporting team development, and managing equipment storage. Ensuring compliance with the Safe Medication Management program and conducting Quality Care Spot Checks are also key duties. The ideal candidate will embody values of caring, honesty, and accountability and must have an NVQ Level 4 in Care, experience in long-term care, and knowledge of CQC Fundamental Standards.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Your focus as a Residential Care Manager will be to manage the group of Care Supervisors within the home ensuring thata high-quality delivery of personal care is delivered to our residents. You will be an advocate for all residents,maintainingthe best interest in all areas of the resident's wellbeing.
Other responsibilitieswillinclude:
Co-ordinating theresident assessmentprocess, ensuringthatthe planned careisaccurate and reflected in each individual care plan. Supporting,guiding,anddevelopingtheirteammembers. Managing the process of ensuring that all equipment is stored in line with the manufacturer'sinstructionsand is cleanedandstored appropriatelyafteruse. Ensuringcompliance with theSafe Medication Management programme, with robust auditing procedures. UndertakingQualityCareSpotChecksreportingonthe qualityofcareprovidedbyCareSupervisors, CarersandSeniorCarers withintheir team.

Qualifications Essential
NVQ Level 4 in Care or equivalent. A minimum of two years' experience in long-term care or a similar industry. Comprehensive understanding of CQC Fundamental Standards. Experience in leading a team in a similar care environment.
