Role reports to: SR SUPPLY PLANNING MANAGER CANADA Location: North America, Canada, Ontario, Guelph Work Location: Fully Onsite What you will do This position is responsible for leading the Guelph Supply Planning organization, including Master Production Scheduling, Detailed Scheduling, and Material Requirements Planning, to ensure the development and execution of feasible production and material supply plans that support customer service, inventory, manufacturing, and financial objectives. The role integrates demand, supply, capacity, and inventory strategies into executable plans that ensure continuity of supply and operational excellence. As a member of both the Guelph Management Leadership Team (GuMLT) and the Canadian Supply Planning Leadership Team, the incumbent plays a key role in driving business performance, fostering a positive and inclusive site culture, building collaborative relationships with site and enterprise leaders, and supporting effective cross-functional decision-making and execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop the strategic direction, objectives, and performance measures for the Site Planning organization and lead execution against established goals. • Lead the Master Production Scheduling, Detailed Scheduling, and Material Requirements Planning functions to ensure the development of balanced and feasible production and material plans that support customer service, inventory, manufacturing, and financial objectives. • Ensure the availability of raw materials required to support production requirements and partner with cross-functional teams to resolve supply constraints. • Proactively identify short- and long-term capacity constraints and opportunities and collaborate with site leadership to optimize asset utilization and throughput. • Lead the site Sales & Operations Planning (iS&OP) process and ensure accurate execution of planning activities, financial submissions, and planning calendars within SAP. • Monitor, analyze, and communicate key performance metrics through global dashboards, including service, inventory, SLOB, capacity utilization, schedule attainment, and other supply chain KPIs; develop action plans to address performance gaps. • Partner with Demand Planning, Operations, Technical Operations, Quality, and Finance to ensure an integrated approach to achieving business objectives. • Support new product launches, line extensions, site projects, and planned shutdown activities by ensuring alignment of production and material supply plans. • Collaborate with Global Procurement and Supply Planning teams to implement inventory optimization strategies and maintain appropriate inventory levels. • Develop and manage the departmental budget and ensure effective utilization of planning resources. • Lead, develop, and manage the performance, engagement, and succession planning of planning team personnel. • Represent Supply Planning on site leadership initiatives and strategic projects, serving as the accountable supply chain representative on the Guelph Management Leadership Team (GuMLT). • Represent the site within Planning Communities of Practice and other network forums to drive alignment, standardization, and continuous improvement across the supply chain network. • Promote a positive, inclusive, and collaborative culture while building strong working relationships with site and enterprise leaders. • Perform other duties as assigned. What we are looking for Required Qualifications

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required. A focused degree in Supply Chain Management • A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, planning, engineering or related discipline. • A minimum of two (2) years of experience managing teams OR people management is required.

Other skills and experience:

• Comprehensive knowledge of supply planning, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), inventory management, capacity planning, and S&OP/iS&OP processes. • Strong proficiency with ERP and advanced planning systems, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP APO/SNP, OMP, Kinaxis, or similar supply chain planning platforms. • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify risks, and develop effective mitigation strategies. • Proven leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to lead teams, drive cross-functional alignment, and foster a positive, collaborative culture. • Experience leading capacity planning, new product introductions, supply chain optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI including data analysis, reporting, dashboard development, and scenario planning. • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a complex global environment. • Familiarity with GMP requirements and applicable regulatory standards is desirable.

Desired Qualifications

• APICS/IBF Certification is preferred.

What’s in it for you Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:$108,700.00 - $158,700.00 This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
