About this role
A. Teaching & Learning
• Plan, prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, clinical demonstrations, and simulation-based learning. • Develop course materials, lesson plans, and assessment tools in line with curriculum requirements. • Supervise and assess student performance in both theory and clinical practice. • Use innovative and evidence-based teaching methods to enhance learning engagement. • Ensure alignment of teaching and assessment activities with accreditation and regulatory standards (e.g., MQA, Nursing Board Malaysia). B. Clinical Supervision
• Guide and mentor students during clinical placements in hospitals, clinics, or community settings. • Monitor students’ clinical competencies and maintain records of their progress. • Liaise with clinical instructors and ward supervisors to ensure effective learning experiences. C. Assessment & Evaluation
• Design, conduct, and evaluate formative and summative assessments. • Provide constructive feedback to students on their academic and clinical performance. • Participate in moderation, curriculum review, and examination board activities. D. Research & Continuous Development
• Engage in scholarly activities, such as research, publications, or conferences, related to nursing education. • Pursue continuous professional development to remain current in nursing practice and pedagogy. • Contribute to institutional research and quality improvement initiatives. E. Administration & Academic Support
• Participate in departmental meetings, student advisory sessions, and institutional events. • Maintain accurate academic and attendance records of students. • Support the programme in accreditation, audit, and curriculum development exercises.
