Join Resideo’s R&D Center in Brno as Test Technician and become part of our Laboratory Test Team, where you will help design, develop, and execute test procedures and standards for highly complex products. In this hands-on role, you will contribute to the development and certification of environmental test functionality across multiple products and applications, supporting new products, processes, standards, and operational plans aligned with our business strategy. You will grow your technical expertise in a collaborative, innovation-driven environment focused on quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact by helping shape new concepts, standards, and processes across functional areas while working in a dynamic and challenging technical setting.
JOB DUTIES:
• Test execution and documentation: Perform and document tests for Resideo Hydronics products in line with industry standards and internal procedures.
• Test sequence management: Prepare, run, and monitor test sequences to ensure accurate and reliable results.
• Result escalation: Escalate test results, issues, or abnormalities to the Test Lab Manager or Test Engineers when further review or action is required.
• Product and component testing: Test new products, components, and sub-assemblies used in both new and existing Home Comfort solutions.
YOU MUST HAVE:
• Technical interest or background: Background in, or strong interest in, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a related technical field.
• Hands-on skills: Practical manual skills gained in a tool shop, workshop, laboratory, or other relevant technical environment.
• Accuracy and attention to detail: Ability to perform tests and control test parameters with precision and consistency.
• English communication: Basic communicative English skills, ideally at B1 level or above.
WE VALUE:
• Language skills: Knowledge of Czech is an advantage.
• Test support experience: Previous experience in a test support role would be beneficial.
• Engineering equipment: Practical experience working with engineering tools, equipment, or test setups.
• Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues in a team or project environment.
• Initiative and ownership: A creative, self-motivated approach with the confidence to take initiative, work independently, and drive tasks forward without close supervision.
• Decision-making: Ability to make timely, well-considered decisions in complex situations by balancing structured analysis with decisiveness.
