Inova is Looking for a dedicated Patient Access Associate to join the team. This role will be Monday through Friday full-time hybrid. Job Responsibilities

• Patient Intake, Registration and Documentation: Registers patients, verifies identity and insurance, collects basic information, enters demographics, and scans forms. • Administrative & Technology Operations: Scans documents, answers phones, and uses electronic medical record (EMR) and eligibility tools. • Case Management Tasks: Notifies case managers and documents referrals. • Financial Counseling: Provides estimates and collects payments. • Insurance & Contract Coordination: Verifies basic eligibility and coverage. • Inquiries & Patient Concerns: Answers routine questions and escalates issues. • Health Information Management (HIM) Coordination: Flags duplicate records and scans identification. • Utilization Review Coordination: Flags cases needing review. • Compliance: Ensures compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other applicable federal and state regulations. • May perform additional duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements

• Education - High School or GED Preferred Qualifications:

• contact center/healthcare experience preferred, has customer service, bilingual (Spanish)
