Job Requirements Job Title Senior officer / Specialist - Overseas Entities Tax Compliance Job Summary Support the tax compliance activities of overseas group entities by coordinating with finance teams and external advisors, preparing tax-related data, maintaining compliance trackers, and assisting with tax filings. The role provides exposure to international taxation, statutory compliance, and global business operations. Key Responsibilities Tax Compliance Support
• Assist in the preparation and review of tax filings for overseas entities. • Compile financial and tax data required for corporate income tax, withholding tax, and other statutory filings. • Maintain tax compliance calendars and monitor filing deadlines. • Support timely submission of tax returns and related documentation. Coordination & Stakeholder Management
• Coordinate with local finance teams and external tax consultants across various jurisdictions. • Follow up on information requests and ensure timely delivery of required documents. • Assist in resolving routine tax compliance queries. Tax Reporting
• Support the preparation of tax provisions and tax-related reports. • Assist with reconciliations between accounting records and tax filings. • Maintain tax compliance records and supporting documentation. Audit & Regulatory Support
• Assist in responding to tax notices, audits, and assessments. • Gather and organize documentation required by tax authorities and auditors. • Maintain records of tax filings, assessments, and audit outcomes. Process & Documentation
• Update tax trackers, compliance dashboards, and process documentation. • Identify opportunities to streamline compliance processes. • Ensure proper documentation and record retention for tax-related matters. Qualifications
• CA Inter, B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent qualification. • 2-5 years of experience in taxation, finance, accounting, or compliance. • Exposure to corporate tax is an added advantage. Required Skills
• Basic understanding of direct taxation. • Good analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong attention to detail. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis. • Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills. • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities. Preferred Skills
• Exposure to multinational companies or shared service environments. • Basic knowledge of international taxation and transfer pricing concepts. • Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms. Key Competencies
