About this role

Job Title: AssemblerJob DescriptionThe Assembler plays a key role in producing high-quality products by carefully assembling, labeling, and packaging items according to customer specifications. This position involves working on an assembly line, handling small parts, and occasionally using chemicals such as isopropyl alcohol and glues. Efficiency, accuracy, and maintaining a strong pace of work are critical to success in this role. Responsibilities • Receive parts as they move down the assembly line and ensure they are correctly prepared for assembly. • Hand-assemble products following detailed instructions and customer specifications. • Use appropriate hand-held tools safely and effectively to complete assembly tasks. • Rotate through different stations with other assembly line operators to support workflow and productivity. • Package and label finished products accurately to meet quality and customer requirements. • Work in a cleanroom environment as assigned, adhering to all cleanliness and contamination control procedures. • Handle and work with chemicals such as isopropyl alcohol and glues when required, following safety guidelines. • Perform general production, inspection, and packaging duties to support overall manufacturing operations. • Follow basic safety standards and procedures at all times to maintain a safe work environment. • Complete other duties as assigned by management to support team and production goals. Essential Skills • Experience in assembly, general labor, or production work in a manufacturing environment. • Ability to perform hand-assembly tasks with attention to detail and consistent quality. • Comfort working in a cleanroom environment and following strict cleanliness protocols. • Ability to lift twenty pounds or more as needed during the workday. • Ability to understand visual aspects of parts and identify basic defects or irregularities. • Ability to follow and apply basic safety standards and procedures. • Proficiency in speaking and reading English, with clear written and oral communication skills. • Ability to maintain an efficient work pace and meet assembly line productivity expectations. • Capability to perform inspection tasks using tools such as microscopes when required. Additional Skills & Qualifications • High school diploma or GED equivalent. • Experience in manufacturing, cleanroom operations, packaging, or general production is beneficial. • Comfort working with chemicals such as isopropyl alcohol and glues while following safety guidelines. • Ability to work collaboratively with other assembly line operators and adapt to rotating tasks. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, accurate work. Work EnvironmentThe work takes place in a very clean, well-lit, and climate-controlled manufacturing and cleanroom environment. The facility is organized and spacious, designed to support efficient assembly and production activities. You will work on an assembly line and in cleanroom areas as assigned, using hand-held tools and occasionally working with chemicals such as isopropyl alcohol and glues. Multiple shifts are available, including a first shift from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and a second shift from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., offering options that can align with different scheduling needs. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Menomonie, WI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.75/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
