Job Title: Multi-Craft Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionThe Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician performs both planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role focuses on diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues, supporting reliable plant operations, and continuously developing new technical skills. Success in this position requires strong critical-thinking abilities, effective troubleshooting skills, and a willingness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies.Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventive maintenance on production equipment to minimize downtime and extend asset life. • Respond to reactive maintenance requests and quickly diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on machinery and systems. • Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems to identify root causes and implement effective repairs. • Conduct electrical troubleshooting on equipment, including motors, controls, sensors, and power distribution components. • Diagnose and resolve PLC-related issues, including basic PLC troubleshooting on platforms such as Siemens and Allen-Bradley. • Execute mechanical repairs such as component replacement, alignment, and adjustment to restore equipment functionality. • Carry out electrical repairs in accordance with safety standards and plant procedures. • Support planned maintenance initiatives by following maintenance schedules and documenting work performed. • Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to prioritize work orders and ensure efficient equipment uptime. • Continuously develop technical skills by learning new technologies, tools, and maintenance practices. • Apply critical-thinking and problem-solving skills to complex equipment failures and recurring issues. • Provide service and support for production lines, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. Essential Skills

• Demonstrated ability to perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on production equipment. • Hands-on experience with hydraulics and pneumatics, including system diagnosis and repair. • Proficiency in mechanical repair and maintenance, including working with moving and rotating equipment. • Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including fault finding and repair on industrial machinery. • Experience with PLC troubleshooting, particularly on Siemens and Allen-Bradley platforms. • Ability to perform both planned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance in a manufacturing environment. • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities applied to equipment and system issues. • Capability to work as a multi-craft maintenance technician, handling both mechanical and electrical tasks. • Comfort working in a fast-paced, production-focused environment with changing priorities. • Willingness to learn and continuously develop new technical skills. • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance setting is highly beneficial. • Experience in both mechanical and electrical maintenance disciplines. • Familiarity with service and repair practices for automated production equipment. • Understanding of planned maintenance strategies and reliability-focused maintenance approaches. • Ability to communicate clearly with production and maintenance teams regarding equipment status and repairs. You will train on first shift for approximately 1–3 months, working from 6:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with the possibility of extended training depending on how quickly you become proficient. After training, you will transition to a 12-hour rotating night shift from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. The role involves hands-on work with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-based systems, including Siemens and Allen-Bradley technologies. You should expect to work around active production lines and maintenance equipment while following appropriate safety and facility guidelines Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carrollton, GA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
