Job Title: Garage Door InstallerJob DescriptionAs a Garage Door Installer, you will work from Monday to Friday with a shift start between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM and end between 2:30 PM and 5:00 PM, depending on the job requirements. Your role involves installing and servicing a wide range of garage door products, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Responsibilities • Perform installation and service on a variety of garage door products. • Document issues, alterations, and modifications at job sites and communicate with lead installers and supervisors for next steps. • Conduct minor framing and construction modifications as directed by supervisors. • Troubleshoot issues and complete punch list items to finalize assigned jobs. • Assist in unloading trucks when requested or assigned. • Complete job site checks as directed by supervisors. • Follow company safety policies and use proper personal protective equipment. • Attend safety meetings and participate in continuing education opportunities. • Ensure the work truck is fueled, serviced, and ready for operation daily. • Maintain appropriate parts inventory on the vehicle for installation and service work. • Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned. Essential Skills • High school diploma or equivalent. • One to two years of experience in installing or servicing sectional or coiling garage doors. • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for company insurance coverage. • Mechanical aptitude with skills in using various hand and power tools. • Basic knowledge of electrical wiring. • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. • Strong attention to detail and coachable. • Professional demeanor and punctuality. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Ability to work from ladders or scissor lifts at varying heights. • Ability to lift up to 65 pounds. • Perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions. • Willingness to work out of town infrequently if needed. You will be exposed to various weather conditions, including heat, sun, and rain. The role requires manual labor and the use of tools and equipment necessary for garage door installations. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Pasco, WA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $39.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
