Job Title: Warehouse Picker – 2nd Shift - $17/HR Job DescriptionThe Warehouse Picker on 2nd shift plays a key role in a high-volume parts distribution center by accurately sorting, picking, packing, and staging products for shipment. This role involves handling items ranging from small handheld boxes to heavy machine parts, using lifting equipment and RF scanners to ensure each order is processed correctly and safely. You will help load and unload semi-trailers, support forklift operators by preparing pick pallets, and contribute to a culture that prioritizes quality and attention to detail over sheer productivity.Responsibilities

• Sort boxes and arrange them on the correct pick pallets for forklift operators. • Pick and pack products of various sizes, from handheld boxes to large machine parts, using appropriate lifting equipment. • Use an RF scanner to accurately locate, verify, and record inventory and order information. • Load and unload semi-trailers with completed pallets and other materials as needed. • Assist with general warehouse labor tasks, including order picking, packaging, and inventory-related activities. • Follow established quality standards to ensure every order is accurate and properly labeled. • Maintain a high level of attention to detail to prevent mix-ups and incorrect shipments, including international shipments. • Work effectively in a multicultural, inclusive team environment and support a shared focus on quality. • Adhere to all safety procedures when operating or working around forklifts and other material-handling equipment. • Meet schedule requirements by working the full 2nd shift and participating in mandatory overtime and occasional Saturday work. Essential Skills

• 3–6 months of warehouse experience. • Experience with picking and packing products in a distribution or warehouse environment. • Ability to use or quickly learn RF scanner technology for inventory and order processing. • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds safely and repeatedly during the shift. • Comfort working with and around forklifts and other lifting equipment. • Strong attention to detail with a quality-oriented mindset. • Ability to work mandatory overtime and occasional Saturdays on 2nd shift (3:00 p.m. – 1:30 a.m., often until 2:00 a.m.). • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, inclusive environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Forklift experience is preferred but not required; willingness to train on and operate forklifts is essential. • Experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, packaging, and general labor is beneficial. • Familiarity with loading and unloading trucks and working in a parts distribution center is a plus. • Contract-to-hire opportunity with an initial 90-day contract period. The facility emphasizes safety, proper use of equipment, and a professional, detail-oriented approach to all warehouse tasks. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of DAVENPORT, IA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
