Aerotek is Hiring for 2nd Shift MIG Welders! Pay: $20.00/hr + $1.00/hr Shift Differential Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, training on 1st Location: Leetsdale, PA Type: Direct Hire/Permanent Job Description We are seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join a growing manufacturing team on 2nd shift. This position involves production welding, fabrication, blueprint reading, and working with a variety of welding equipment in a clean, safety-focused environment. Candidates should have a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to produce high-quality welds while meeting production and quality standards.Responsibilities
• Perform MIG welding on production components and assemblies. • Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and welding specifications. • Fabricate metal components using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and jigs. • Set up and operate MIG welders, drilling machines, and robotic welding equipment. • Perform TIG welding, brazing, and occasional stick welding as needed. • Complete aluminum welding on assigned projects. • Program and adjust robotic welding systems according to specifications. • Inspect finished welds to ensure quality and compliance with standards. • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area. • Support production goals while maintaining high workmanship standards. • Work overtime as needed. Required Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of MIG welding experience. • Minimum 2 years of blueprint reading experience. • Minimum 2 years of fabrication experience. • Experience working in a manufacturing or production welding environment. • Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Preferred Qualifications
• TIG welding experience. • Flux core welding experience. • Experience with robotic welding systems. • Aluminum welding experience. • Welding certifications or formal welding training. • Manufacturing industry experience. Why Apply?

Work Environment This position is based in a modern manufacturing facility with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and employee development. New hires will complete training on 1st shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) for several months before transitioning to the regular 2nd shift schedule (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM).
