Job Title: Press Brake Machine Set Up OperatorJob DescriptionThis role involves the setup of line tools, where you will position, align, and secure dies by bolting the bottom section to the press bed or bolster plate and the upper section to the ram. You'll ensure the proper operation of safety devices, set up, and synchronize automatic material feeds for dimensional and press ram action, and operate the press to produce pilot pieces for inspection. Responsibilities • Set up line tools and secure dies by bolting to the press bed and ram. • Ensure proper operation of safety devices. • Synchronize automatic material feed for dimensional and press ram action. • Load materials on reels or in bins. • Operate press to produce pilot pieces for inspection. • Use inspection equipment like scales, squares, calipers, and micrometers. • Perform routine preventative maintenance and housekeeping of work areas. • Pack produced items into containers. Essential Skills • Experience with press brake set up. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints. • Proficiency with mechanical tools and machine setup. • Experience operating press brake machines in an industrial manufacturing setting, specifically 8, 10, and 12-foot press brakes, 200 tons and below. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience with CNC machines is advantageous. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
