Job Title: Forklift OperatorJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated forklift operator for a 5pm to 5am 4x4 schedule, with initial training on the first shift for two weeks. The role involves maintaining a steady supply of materials to the production floor and transporting finished products back to the warehouse for shipment. The position requires operating a double fork forklift truck. Responsibilities • Maintain the production floor by stocking materials from the warehouse. • Transport finished products from the production floor back to the warehouse. • Operate a double fork forklift truck efficiently and safely. Essential Skills • Minimum of 2 years of forklift driving experience in a manufacturing environment. • Qualified in visual, auditory, physical, and mental ability to operate equipment safely. • Ability to work any shift, including weekends, with mandatory overtime as needed. • Strong attention to detail, organization, and quality maintenance. • Ability to lift up to 50lbs. • Familiar with quality standards and line processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Basic computer skills. • Experience with inventory, material handling, and RF scanner usage. • Strong interpersonal skills for team collaboration. • Understanding of equipment needs and modifications. Work EnvironmentThe role is primarily based in a plant environment, involving exposure to warehouse forklift traffic and frequent loud production noise. Light lifting is required as part of the job duties. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of HANOVER, PA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
