About this role

Job Title: Clean Room Assembly/Operator Level 3Job DescriptionAs a Level 3 Operator, you will work in a full clean room environment, performing various duties at a machine station, including loading medical or filter components, monitoring machines, visual inspecting, packaging, labeling, bagging, sorting, trimming, and other tasks. You will follow work instructions and perform documentation according to work orders. The components are used for respiratory purposes, oxygen concentrators, and HEPA filters. This role requires standing for 10-12 hours and using small hand tools and custom machines. Responsibilities • Work in a clean room environment requiring full gowning. • Perform duties at a machine station including loading components and monitoring machines. • Conduct visual inspections using a magnifying glass and follow detailed work instructions. • Use small hand tools and custom machines for assembly processes. • Spend part of the shift in the quality lab operating a CMM and other measuring tools. • Spend part of the shift in the secondary operations room trimming parts using a small saw. Essential Skills • Minimum 6 months of manufacturing experience, preferably in medical or clean room environments. • Strong reading, writing, and math skills. • Ability to consistently lift up to 20 lbs. • Ability to stand for 10 hours while wearing steel toe boots. • Excellent attention to detail and hand dexterity. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience with microscopes. • Experience with clean room and medical documentation. • Quality inspection experience. Clean room settings require full gowning with hair/beard net and eye protection. Jewelry or makeup is not allowed. Safety steel toe boots and safety glasses are mandatory throughout the facility. Weekend shift hours are 5am-5:30pm Friday to Sunday, with a $3 shift differential. Training is ideally conducted during weekday shifts, with flexible arrangements possible. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
