Job Title: Quality InspectorJob DescriptionAs a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that all inspection activities consistently deliver products that conform to specified company requirements. This encompasses all stages from raw materials and components through in-process inspections, assembly, and final acceptance testing. We have 1st and 2nd shift offerings for this position in Sutton, Boylston, and Worcester, MA. This role will pay $19 an hour and can start immediately after a succesful walkthrough.Responsibilities
• Collaborate with Production Supervisors and production employees to ensure quality standards are met. • Verify that production process inspections are conducted properly. • Conduct sample in-process inspections to maintain quality control. • Ensure process materials are correctly identified according to procedures and work instructions. • Inspect finished goods and verify that load tag information is correct and complete. • Ensure shipment load tags and packing lists are accurate before dispatch. • Conduct daily walk-throughs to ensure compliance with organizational requirements and procedures. • Ensure that quality policies and procedures are understood and adhered to by all employees. • Maintain and promote company standards of quality and educate employees when necessary. • Process any necessary corrective or preventative action documents according to company procedures. Essential Skills
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for the entire shift. • Proficiency in speaking, understanding, reading, and writing English. • Experience in quality inspection. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Experience in manufacturing or quality is advantageous but not mandatory. • Familiarity with production, assembly, general labor, inspection, and quality control processes. There are no unpleasant odors. Two shifts are available: 1st shift from 6 am to 2:30 pm and 2nd shift from 2:30 pm to 11 pm. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sutton, MA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
